Leggo sul blog di Marco riferimenti a licenze multiple all'interno di MSDN, http://blogs.ugidotnet.org/marco.santoni/archive/2005/05/13/16239.aspx.
E' un errore che molti fanno in assoluta buona fede, sappiate che la licenza di MSDN Professional (e di tutte le altre versioni) è singola.

Non esiste una versione per 10 o 5 o 2 o....
Chi possiede la licenza ha diritto ad installare tutte le macchine che vuole per uso di sviluppo, demo e test, è escluso l'utilizzo in produzione con il solo caso di Office all'interno di MSDN Universal.

Segnlazione appena ricevuta:
Important Note: Microsoft has found an issue with the final build of SP4 that impacts customers who run SQL Server with Address Windowing Extensions (AWE) support enabled. This issue only impacts computers with more than two gigabytes (2 GB) of memory where AWE has been explicitly enabled.
If you have this configuration, you should not install SP4. Microsoft is currently working on the problem and will issue an update soon.
Il problema si verifica solo se è configurato un valore di "max server memory" maggiore del 50% della memoria disponibile.
Ad esempio se il server ha 32Gb e "max server memory" è impostato a 12Gb non ci sono problemi, se il "max server memory" è impostato a 20Gb o più grande allora SQL Server userà solo il 50% della memoria fisica e cioè 16Gb.

Stanno lavorando al rilascio di una Fix.

So che l'arrivo di Team System e di Team Foundation Server sta sollevando  molte discussioni relativamente al prezzo e alle caratteristiche delle varie configurazioni possibili.
10 minuti fa è arrivata una email con alcuni annunci importanti, vi giro alcune delle cose più importanti.
Ricordo che se si ha il solo Visual Studio è possibile passare a MSDN pagando la sola quota di rinnovo (invece che il prezzo pieno) e questo solo fino all'uscita di VS2005.

Ritornano alla email che ha originato questo post, ecco le cose importanti:

We will place a limited version of Team Foundation Server in each edition of the Visual Studio Team System family (Architects, Developers and Testers).  This version will be restricted to a maximum of five users and should serve the needs of smaller organizations.  Teams that have a need for more users should still find that Team Foundation Server is significantly more cost effective than current source code control solutions and offers tremendous value through its role as the core of integration across all of the Team System.

•  Universal subscribers that want all of the client functionality of Team System will be able to upgrade to Team Suite by paying just the incremental software assurance or renewal price for the duration of their agreement. 
• Universal subscribers who want Team Edition for Software Architects, Team Edition for Software Developers, or Team Edition for Software Testers will be able to upgrade at no additional cost. Each of these “role Editions” includes the MSDN Premium Subscription.
• Universal subscribers who want the 2005 equivalent of MSDN Universal can simply choose Visual Studio 2005 Professional Edition with MSDN Premium Subscription and get the functional equivalent of MSDN Universal for about 15% less than what they paid today.
