Non vengono però menzionate (almeno non completamente) le differenze tra i due, differenze che sono ben riassunte in questo post; in particolare, uno dei particolari più importanti che non vengono menzionati è il seguente:
During the index rebuild process, the statistics are also re-computed - same as when a new index gets created. Reorganize on the other hand does not update the statistics.
