SQL Everywhere...

Ora ci manca solo SteveB a urlare "everywhere... everywhere... everywhere..."... beh... naturalmente "everywhere == windows" e famiglia...

Christmas has come very early this year because this is what oh so many of us have been asking for: A SQL database that runs on Mobile Devices, Tablets, and Desktops, has a common data format, and does not require the installation of a Windows Service.

The bottom line is that Paul Flessner, Microsoft Sr. VP, announced this morning that the Windows Mobile database, SQL Mobile, is becoming SQL Everywhere. As part of the change SQL Everywhere will run across not only Windows Mobile devices and Tablets as SQL Mobile did; it now supports Desktops as well.
