PROLOGUE
Hello everyone and welcome to the first post of THE AWESOME
PORT (A.K.A. how you’re going to make your awesome game developed with Unity3D
even more awesome with a great porting to Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8) series!
In this series we’re going to explore all the aspects we
need to consider to port our games, developed in Unity3D, to Windows 8 and
Windows Phone 8 taking full advantage of all the great features of these
platforms!
We will start integrating all the platform specific features
and after we will go through all the optimization that, if necessary, can
provide more fluidity to our game.
Well, it’s time to begin! The first post will be about what
I consider the most important and awesome feature: the LIVE TILE! So stay
tuned!
