Una cosa che un pò mi rattrista è di non leggere mai notizie del genere in Italia. Riusciremo mai a fare qualcosa di innovativo in questo settore?

Lo ammetto, a me non piace la mentalità che c'è in Italia...
Secondo me dipende molto da come pensano la programmazione gli italiani:
a parte pochi (e penso che questi pochi siano quasi tutti quelli partecipano attivamente a UGI), tutti pensano alla programmazione come ad un lavoro, senza interesse per quello che fanno. Siamo troppo (e mi includo pure io perchè purtroppo siamo costretti dall'ambiente lavorativo) legati alle "tradizioni", non innoviamo, nelle piccole e nelle grandi cose: anche cose banali come i framework JS... chi li usa in italia?
E le applicazione "web2.0"? Devo sono in Italia?
E qui non si tratterebbe di innovare, ma solo di copiare quello che fanno oltre oceano.

Da cosa dipende questo? Siamo veramente noi Italiani che siamo geneticamente meno portati all'innovazione, o le nostre ali sono tarpate da un mercato del lavoro e da un bacino di clienti troppo stagnante e poco reattivo?

La mia opinione a questo proposito è che l'informatica non è il core business dell'Italia, nel senso che non è nata da noi e non fa parte della nostra cultura. Inoltre noi abbiamo la cattiva abitudine di credere che quello che viene dall'estero sia meglio e non sappiamo riconoscere quando qualcuno è in gamba se non dopo che ha avuto successo all'estero.
Poi non crediamo nella ricerca, infatti, investiamo pochissimo.
Ci sono anche altre cose che vorrei dire forse farò un post sul mio blog.
