Io programmo tuttora in PB oltre che in .NET, e debbo dire che il test fatto mi sembra un pochino semplicistico.
Sia in PB che in .NET esistono diverse tecniche di accesso ai dati ed ognuna di loro ha i suoi pro ed i suoi contro; quindi il confronto fra i vari ambienti andrebbe fatto sulla soluzione globale di un problema e non semplicemente sulla chiamata ad un metodo.
Oltretutto se vogliamo pignoleggiare, è vero che PB ha delle buone performance nell'accesso ai dati, ma assoultamente "scandalose" quando si parla di "elaborazione"; facendo dei semplici test PB risulta dalle 8 alle 50 volte più lento di C# in fase elaborativa.

Mi sembra mooolto semplicistico.
Conosco abbastanza bene la versione 9.0 di PowerBuilder e ti posso dire che il confronto tra i due ambienti è davvero improponibile.
