Ultimamente mi è capitato di recupare una VM dove il servizio di reporting Reporting Services 2008 aveva problemi a funzionare. Per farlo ripartire ho cambiato la porta facendolo funzionare sulla porta 81. Oggi è stato rilascio il Rollup Update 7 per il MS Dynamics CRM 4.0
è un update molto importante che coinvolge in particolar modo l'Outlook Client.
Per i miglioramenti che apporta, consiglio a tutti di pianificarne l'installazione.

Il Microsoft Dynamics CRM Team ha pubblicato un interessante post in merito alle performance di caricamento della form di personalizzazione delle entità. In particolari casi risulta molto lenta. Rilasciato ufficialmente oggi il Mobile Express che consente di utilizzare il Dynamics CRM, attraverso un web browser, da dispositivi mobili. Adesso supporta completamente le personalizzazioni e gli scenari multi-tenant. Attenzione che ci sono anche degli hotfix che devono essere esplicitamente abilitati a mano.
Nuova versione anche per il Plugin Registration Tool, che rappresenta una dei strumenti indispensabili per sviluppare con il Dynamics CRM 4.0. Riporto dal blog del Team CRM il post con gli aggiornamenti per il client Outlook del CRM 4.0, che risolvono i seguenti problemi:
1. Outlook hangs during initialization (progress toolbar displays “Loading…” and never finishes)
2. With E-mail Auto Promotion Enabled, Outlook may not close cleanly/properly.
3. Contacts with birthdays earlier than 1/1/1970 causes Outlook to crash
