Il primo del mese è per me un appuntamento fisso con Eric Brechner, il mito, e la sua rubrica sulle vere "best practices", brutalmente onesta.

Oggi parla di un argomento, il cambiamento, che non poteva arrivare in un momento migliore, almeno per me.

Il post è uno spettacolo, ma il top lo raggiunge nel paragrafo finale:

There is nothing permanent except change

Change is a part of life. The people who control and manage it are the people who succeed. It's not easy, but then again, it's not that hard either. Anyone can do it. You can do it. Doing it well will grow you and your team. Prepare well, communicate well, and make your progress transparent. Before you know it, a change really will do you good.

Quello che adoro nello stile di Eric è il suo essere diretto (soprattutto quando veste i panni di I.M. Wright) oltre ogni limite. Ed è veramente importante vedere che è una delle voci più ascoltate all'interno dei team di sviluppo in Microsoft.

E comunque è assolutamente vero. La trasparenza e la comunicazione sono essenziali per gestire al meglio i cambiamenti, di qualsiasi tipo.
