            <description>&lt;p&gt;Da oggi è scaricabile la versione beta dell'attesissimo XNA Game Studio 2.0 e finalmente sarà possibile tesatare il supporto multiplayer  &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Questo è il link per il download.&lt;br /&gt;
questa versione permette l'utilizzo, limitatamente all'utilizzo su pc (non Xbox 360 come avverrà nella versione definitiva), del multiplayer via System Link e via Live, invece, previa richiesta del codice di attivazione.             <title>XNA Game Studio 2.0 Beta disponibile a breve</title>

            <description>&lt;p&gt; Michael Klucher, program manager della community di sviluppo per XNA ha annunciato l'imminente rilascio della versione beta di XNA Game Studio 2.0. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;La versione in uscita sarà da considerare "completa di tutte le feature" annunciate, ma consentirà il deploy solo su piattaforma windows.&lt;br /&gt;
Tutte le funzionalità promesse sono state mantenute (quindi networking, compatibilità con tutte le versioni di visual studio, etc...), ad eccezione, come era già stato annunciato, della compatibilità con le windows form (ma per sopperire a questa mancanza è possibile usufruire dell'ottimo &lt;a title="xWinForms" target="_blank" mce_href="http://www.gameprojects.com/project/?id=e68f3464c4" href="http://www.gameprojects.com/project/?id=e68f3464c4"&gt;xWinForms&lt;/a&gt;... sperando che funzioni anche con la 2.0 di xna ;-P ). &lt;/p&gt;

            <title>Proiezione degli oggetti 3D</title>

            <description>Un paio di giorni fà mi stavo cimentando nella realizzazione della versione 0.1 di un videogames XNA a scopo didattico (per ora), e mi sono reso conto che il concetto di visuale 3D oggetto 3D e piano di visualizzazione 2D non è proprio immediato per chi non mastica tutti i giorni questo tipo di argomenti. L'ho risconstatato anche dalle perplessità delle facce dei partecipanti ad un corso di wpf a cui ho preso parte non molto tempo fà in Microsoft, dove è stato introdotto il concetto di "Viewpoint" e compagnia bella. &lt;br /&gt;
Quindi ho pensato di sistemare gli appunti a riguardo che mi ero scritto per il progetto XNA e ordinarli in modo da scrivere un articolo (spero in modo comprensibile a tutti... &lt;img alt="" src="/Providers/BlogEntryEditor/FCKeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/regular_smile.gif" /&gt;).&lt;br /&gt;

            <title>Farseer Physics Engine per XNA e Silverlight</title>

            <description>Era un po' di tempo che si vociferava di un possibile connubio tra XNA e Silverlight.&lt;br /&gt;
La "nascita" di Farseer Physics Engine, motore fisico 2D utilizzabile per entrambe le tecnologie, forse ne è la prima conferma.&lt;br /&gt;
In realtà questo, forse, dimostra solo che essendo già  uscito con una compatibilità estesa,  lo sviluppo per i 2 framework è quantomeno similare.&lt;br /&gt;
Per esattezza, infatti, più che di silverlight e XNA sarebbe più corretto a mio avviso parlare di integrazione tra XNA e WPF, in quanto condividono più caratteristiche.&lt;br /&gt;
Seguite il mio ragionamento:&lt;br /&gt;
Silverlight è un compact framework, sottoinsieme del framework WPF che, unito al .net 2.0 e altro, vanno a formare il framework 3.5. Nasce per garantire una "compatibilità"  multipiattaforma (win, mac, tra un po forse linux etc...), per fare questo si avvale di un browser (anche quì con quasi la totale compatibilità) su cui installa un suo plug-in. &lt;br /&gt;
Ora, già quì mi sorgono i primi dubbi sull'utilizzo all'interno di gioco di un componente che usa un'istanza di una fantomatica versione apposita di ie, ma l'insormontabile problema è sicuramente il fatto che la versione attuale silverlight (e anche la 1.1) &lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;NON&lt;/span&gt; è in grado di sfruttare le risorse hardware della macchina su cui sta girando (e probabilmente mai lo farà); una su tutte la GPU della scheda video. Quindi.... ad esempio... niente 3D. E' un po' limitante per un videogioco... &lt;br /&gt;
WPF questa peculiarità invece ce l'ha perchè, come il "cugino" XNA ha anche lo scopo di esporre al programmatore un modo "comodo" di sfruttare le directx con tutte le peculiarità. Il prezzo da pagare di tanta "comodità" è quello di avere, ovviamente, le directx installate; un problema però trascurabile perchè già XNA lo prevede come requisito.&lt;br /&gt;
Alla luce di questo, WPF che è considerato la svolta verso un nuovo livello di "user experience" (è lo slogan del momento... &lt;img alt="" src="/Providers/BlogEntryEditor/FCKeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/regular_smile.gif" /&gt;), punto su cui XNA non è ancora molto "ferrato" (per fare un esempio fino alla versione refresh non esisteva nessuna gestione dei font, ma qualsiasi scritta a video dovevano essere renderizzata come un comune sprite) e può quindi essere interessante un'integrazione.&lt;br /&gt;

            <title>Cerchiamo di far parlare un po' XNA in... italiano... </title>

            <description>&lt;P&gt;In collaborazione con gli amici di &lt;A href="http://www.xboxway.com"&gt;www.xboxway.com&lt;/A&gt; abbiamo innaugurato (ormai un paio di mesi f&amp;#224;) una sezione dedicata ad XNA, con un forum tematico e una parte che ospiter&amp;#224; tutorial (al momento ce ne sono presenti 2 entry-entry-entry level scritti da me, con relativo codice sorgente).&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;L'ultimo obiettivo di questo progetto &amp;#232; quello di formare un gruppo di sviluppatori italiani (ma non solo) per un progetto XNA.&lt;BR&gt;Questo &amp;#232; il link:&lt;BR&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.xboxway.com/xna"&gt;www.xboxway.com/xna&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
