Only code profiler for .NET CF

The profiler was developed specifically to optimize .NET CF apps, and is actually the only existing code profiler for .NET CF in the World as of May, 2008.
The report is stored as a simple file to simplify usage on an embedded device that has no network connectivity.

Low runtime overhead

The overhead depends on the instrumentation-level and the application itself, but typically your app will only run 30% slower and become 30% bigger.
This low overhead means you're usually able to run your app just like normal, even for timing-critical code.

Command-line version

A command-line version of the profiler enables you to integrate the profiling-step straight into your ordinary build-process, e.g. in MSBuild.

Roma - Il rilascio delle prossime major release di Visual Studio e MS.NET Framework è ancora piuttosto lontano - le prime beta pubbliche potrebbero arrivare non prima del 2009 - ma ciò non ha impedito a BigM di richiamare l'attenzione dei programmatori sulla sua futura piattaforma di sviluppo.

Come primo passo, Microsoft ha inaugurato un sito espressamente dedicato a quello che sarà ufficialmente chiamato Visual Studio 2010: su tale sito è già possibile trovare video, screenshot e risorse tecniche che illustrano le principali caratteristiche della futura suite di sviluppo.

Versioni d'anteprima di Visual Studio 2010 e di MS.NET Framework 4 saranno mostrate presso la Professional Developers Conference (PDC) che si terrà dal 27 al 30 ottobre. Lo stesso evento in cui BigM presenterà per la prima volta al pubblico il successore di Vista, nome in codice Windows 7. Il destino di questo sistema operativo appare profondamente legato a quello di Visual Studio 2010, tanto che la sua data di rilascio dovrebbe corrispondere, o seguire di poco, quella del nuovo ambiente di sviluppo.

Nell' anno 2007, Guillermo Vargas Habacuc, un finto artista, prese un cane di strada, lo leg� ad una corda corta ad un muro di una galleria d'arte e lo lasci� morire lentamente di fame e di sete: Per parecchi giorni, l'autore di questa orribile crudelt� e i visitatori di questa galleria d'arte sono stati spettatori impassibili dell' agonia del povero animale, fin quando finalmente � morto per inanizione, dopo aver passato per un doloroso, assurdo ed incomprensibile calvario.

Questo non � tutto: la prestigiosa Biennale Centroamericana di Arte ha deciso, incomprensibilmente, che la bestialit� che aveva appena commesso questo individuo � arte, ed in questo modo tanto incomprensibile Guillermo Vargas Habacuc � stato invitato a ripetere la sua crudele azione in fortuna Biennale in 2008. OSTACOLIAMOLO!!! �

Si chiama Microsoft Singularity ed è l'ultimo parto di Microsoft Research presentato a Redmond al
TechFest 2008, evento durante il quale Microsoft Research toglie i veli ai progetti sui quali sta lavorando. In questo caso si tratta di un sistema operativo nuovo di zecca e con caratteristiche per certi versi sorprendenti.
La particolarità di Microsoft Singularity sembra essere quello che viene chiamato il SIP (Software Isolated Process). L'uso del SIP fornisce forti garanzie di isolamento dei processi di sistema. Su Singularity ogni programma, driver o estensione di sistema ha il proprio SIP. I SIP non condividono spazi di memoria. Il risultato è - secondo Microsoft - un'affidabilità superiore.

30 milioni per il nuovo Italia.it

"Roma - Il Governo può essere caduto, il primo portale Italia.it essersi rivelato un disastroso fallimento ma i responsabili del Turismo italiano non demordono: come anticipato su queste pagine, Italia.it remix, il nuovo grande tentativo per un portalone del turismo, costerà 30 milioni di euro.
Lo ha confermato in una intervista ad Altroconsumo il vicepresidente di ENIT, l'Ente del Turismo Italiano, Enrico Paolini, che ricorda come non solo 21 milioni di euro già stanziati per Italia.it finiranno effettivamente alle regione ma conferma anche che lo stesso ENIT riceverà 9 milioni di fondi per "riavviare il portale".
"Non dimentichiamoci - ha spiegato Paolini - che l'ENIT è un'Agenzia professionalmente deputata a occuparsi di turismo e che ha tutti i numeri per riuscire a dare seguito a questo progetto".

Secondo Paolini, del primo tentativo "la piattaforma tecnologica non ha funzionato. La perdita di due anni non è imputabile a noi, ma a chi in maniera folle ha destinato i soldi per un portale per il turismo a chi di questo settore non ne sapeva nulla. I fondi andavano dati subito alle Regioni, risparmiando tempo e denaro. Per fortuna sono rimasti un po' di soldi, che permetteranno di fare gli interventi tecnologici necessari per riavviare Italia.it"."
